Never done a blog b4 and I'm bored to tears so here goes....

 

What can i talk about...ah I know...took a trip down to the good old sunny coast with a bunch of close frens on Monday (02/01/06). Our destinations included Big Kart Track, Underwater World and Mooloolabah beach. Having been born and bred on the coast, the trip was like 'farn herng har' (cantonese) or going back to 'jia xiang' (Mandarin) for me. The weather was perfect and I'm sure we all got a nice tan.

 

My fave was the big kart track....awsome fun! Highly recommended to anyone looking for something different to do. I ended lapping most of my frens at least twice (All that money I put into Daytona has paid off!). It was a bit scary at 1st cos the steering wheel was very stiff and I wondered whether my kart could corner at all. But as I got used to it I transformed into a speed freak: Bring on the bends! Gimme more of those U-turns! Just couldn't get enuf. Unfortunately it was a bit demoralising when a young 10 yr old kid keeps speeding past u...better continue practicing on Daytona...

 

 

Our next destination was Underwater world...we finally made it there after I took everyone for a long ride to nowhere because I took the wrong road (almost made it to Mudjimba...whereever the hell that is). But I'm sure my frens got to appreciate that nothingness of the coast! So after a long lunch and a pluto pup that took 15 mins to cook, we set foot inside underwater world. Interesting place but not enuf to do if u ask me. The best part was the underwater viewing area where u stand on a conveyor belt travelling thru a glass tunnel with sharks swimming over u....kinda romantic but unfortunately the only person available to hug was Billy. I wasnt planning to turn gay just yet so I decided to leave him alone and pretended to embrace my fantasy girl.

 

We then took a trip to Mooloolabah beach where we decided that we could do with a little more sun and that our skins weren't quite red enuf. Ended up having a gay experience frolicking in the water with Billy again...I'm glad Marcella was there too which made it not so gay. We got each other pretty wet (from the sea water...don't think dirty things pleez) and Billy had to buy some new pants...ooopss.

 

The day ended with a nice dinner at Hogs Breath. We were buggerred by then and everyone of us guzzled our meals like there was no tomoro.

 

All in all, a fun filled trip which I'd gladly do again. The destinations weren't the most memorable places but the company and frenship was. A big thank you to all my frens for a wonderful time and especially Billy who was my 'bitch' for the day :)
